This year's market will be held on Friday 29th November from 4pm until 7pm. The Christmas Tree (which is coming from our wood) will be light at 5pm and there will be a large number of stalls around the town. St Myllin's Church will be hosting a Christmas Tree Fesitval.
The highlight of the year is the Llanfyllin Show tracing its history back to the 1600s. It is held on the second Saturday in August and details can be found on the Show website. It is one of the oldest agricultural shows in the area and has family entertainment all day.
For just over 40 years, the Allegri String Quartet, Britain's longest running chamber music ensemble (founded in 1953) has been playing each summer to delighted audiences at St. Myllin's Church, Llanfyllin, in the heart of Mid Wales. Four concerts are held each year in mid-July and details can be found on the Festival web site.
